On Saturday afternoon, the Ottawa Hills Bengals (6-6, OK-Gold) defeated the Saginaw Arthur Hill Lumberjacks (3-7, SV) by a score of 86-59.

From the start, the Bengals were in control. They came out firing on all cylinders. They took the lead at 6:06 in the first and never looked back.

The Bengals scored 32 points in the first quarter alone, which is just four less points than what the Lumberjacks scored in the first three quarters combined.

As the game went on, the Bengals continued to add to their lead. Arthur Hill was never able to mount a comeback.

The fourth quarter was where the Lumberjacks played their best ball. They outscored Ottawa Hills and were able to cut a 38-point deficit down to a 27-point deficit. This was too little too late and, despite not making a field goal in the final 2:47, the Bengals held on and won 86-59.

Quadier Hatchett and Isiah Bradford had big games for the Bengals. Hatchett was 12 of 23 from the field, including 2 of 8 from three and 1 of 5 from the line. He had 27 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Bradford was 7 of 12 from the floor, including 1 of 3 from beyond the arc, and 2 of 2 from the free throw line. He had 15 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals.

Ottawa Hills will take on Wayland (6-4, OK-Gold) on 1-24 as they look to continue their winning ways. Arthur Hill will play Bay City Western (3-6, SV) on 1-24 as they look to get a bounce back victory.
