Eaglets Dominate in Statement Victory Against East Kentwood

On Saturday, the Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Eaglets (6-4, CHSL-Central) defeated the East Kentwood Falcons (8-3, OK-Red) by a score of 56-41.
Orchard Lake scored first, taking a 2-0 lead with 6:46 left in the first quarter. They would never give up this lead. They came out firing on all cylinders and they were in control.
The Eaglets held the momentum for the entirety of the game. They never trailed, nor did they lefEast Kentwood tie the game. From start to finish, they dominated.
The Falcons offense played better in the second half. In fact, they outscored the Eaglets 24-20 after halftime. However, this was not enough. Orchard Lake played hard and went on to defeat the Falcons by a score of 56-41.
The GBrand G of the Game was given to Daniel Smythe. He was 6 of 11 from beyond the arc. He had 18 points, 3 rebounds, an assist, and 2 steals.
On 1-24, Orchard Lake St. Mary’s will take on Catholic Central (5-6, CHSL-Central) as they look to win back-to-back games. East Kentwood will play West Ottawa (3-9, OK-Red) as they look to get a bounce back win.
