Technicians Dominant in Victory Against Hawks

On Tuesday, the Cass Tech Technicians (4-0, DPSL) defeated the Saginaw Heritage Hawks (3-3, SVC) by a score of 81-50. 

From the start of the game, Cass Tech was in control. The took the lead a little under two minutes into the match and did not give it up. The Technicians outscored the Hawks 43-19 in the first half and took a 24-point lead into halftime. 

The Hawks were able to produce some more offense in the second half, scoring almost double what they did in the first half. However, they were never able to close the deficit. Cass Tech seemingly had an answer to whatever the Hawks threw their way. 

In the fourth quarter, the Technicians continued their domination and extended their lead to 31 points. Cass Tech went on to win 81-50, remaining undefeated and improving their record to 4-0. 

Darius Acuff and Derrick Miller had good games for the Technicians. Acuff scored 24 points while Miller scored 13 points. 

Cass Tech will take on another undefeated team in Grand Rapids Northview (5-0, OK-White) on 12-30. Saginaw Heritage will look to bounce back from this loss as they play Warren Fitzgerald (1-3, MAC-Gold) on 12-30.
