Raiders Win the OAA-Red Conference

On Tuesday, the North Farmington Raiders (18-1, OAA-Red) defeated the Ferndale Eagles (12-

8, OAA-Red) by a score of 73-54.

Ferndale had the advantage in the opening quarter. They outscored the Raiders 17-13 and led for

majority of the first quarter.

The second quarter saw very little offense. Both teams combine for only 12 points. The Raiders

had the advantage, outscoring the Eagles 8-4. The game was tied 21-21 going into halftime.

In the third quarter, the Raiders offense exploded. They outscored the Eagles 31-9 in the quarter

and took a 52-30 lead into the final quarter.

Despite outscoring the Raiders in the fourth quarter, the Eagles were never able to mount a

comeback. North Farmington went on to win by a score of 73-54. With this victory, they won the

OAA-Red Conference.

The GBrand G of the Game was given to Ryan Hurst. He went 8 of 18 from the field, including 4

of 8 from beyond the arc, as well as 3 of 4 from the free throw line. He had 23 points and 7

rebounds.

North Farmington will play Rochester Adams (13-7, OAA-Red) on 3-2 as they look to continue

their dominance. Ferndale will take on Oak Park (11-5, OAA-Red) on 3-2 as they look to bounce

back from this loss.
