Cowboys Dominate Robichaud in Statement Victory

On Wednesday, the Detroit Western Cowboys (3-4, DPSL) defeated the Dearborn Heights Robichaud Bulldogs (3-3, WWAC) by a score of 76-45. 

The game started with Robichaud taking the early lead. Throughout the first quarter, they held onto the lead, despite Western cutting it close. The Bulldogs led 13-11 after the first quarter. 

Robichaud extended their lead to 17-11 in the second quarter. It was at this point that the momentum would shift in favor of Western. The Cowboys came back to take a 28-21 lead into halftime. 

In the second half. Western continued to dominate, outscoring the Bulldogs 47-26 in the final two quarters. Robichaud was never able to cut into the deficit and Detroit Western cruised to 75-46 victory.

Here is an interesting stat from this game. Since falling behind 17-11, the Cowboys outscored the Bulldogs 64-29. That is a point differential of 35. 

Detroit Western will take on Detroit Denby (0-1, DPSL) on 1-3. Robichaud will look to bounce back from this lose as they play Ypsilanti Community (0-4, SC-White) on 1-7.
