The #1 team in the country, the St. Mary’s Prep. Eaglets, will look to continue their six game win streak on the young season as fellow top 10 team in the state, according to The PreP, the Hartland Eagles, will travel to O.L.S.M. and try to spoil their perfect season bid.

After having their top two matchup postponed at G.P. Liggett last weekend, Mary’s will throw senior Nolan Higgins. The right-handed Lansing CC commit has appeared in two games this season and has recorded three strikeouts and a save. He features a fastball that reaches the lower 90s.

On the other hand, Hartland will start junior Michigan State commit Gannon Grundman. He is a left-hander that has a fastball with movement that sits in the mid 80s. He also has a changeup and a slider in his arsenal.

A player to watch for the Eaglets will be senior Auburn commit Ike Irish. Irish is hitting .727 on the season with six long balls and 13 RBIs. The catcher also has an absolutely out-of-this-world 2.364 SLG % and a 3.206 OPS.

For the Eagles, shortstop Sam Clay will be one to keep an eye on. The junior is a pure hitter that gets the barrel on the ball as well as being the anchor of the Hartland defense.

Gametime is set for 5 P.M. ET, the link to the broadcast can be found here: https://www.stmarysprep.com/
