After besting Detroit Country Day earlier this week, the number one team in the nation, the Eaglets, will look to make it 18 in a row on the season in a doubleheader at home against the 6-2 Pilots.

For game one, O.L.S.M. will send out senior Clemson commit Brock Porter. The projected first round draft pick is 2-0 on the year with 32 strikeouts recorded and has only given up one earned run on the season, which came against the number two team in the state, the Liggett Knights.

For the second matchup, St. Mary’s will give the start to sophomore Parker Brzustewicz. The young right hander is making his third start of the season today. In his four games pitched, he is a perfect 3-0 with 24 Ks and a 1.27 earned run average.

For the Pilots, they will send out sophomore Rhett Roeser and junior Gabe Jones.

The righty Roeser is 2-1 this year and has notched 25 strikeouts in 14 innings pitched while maintaining a 3.50 ERA.

Fellow right hander Jones owns stats similar to Roeser as he has pitched in 16 innings this season and is also 2-1. In addition to the same record, he has the same amount of Ks at 25, but he has an ERA just under four, at 3.94.

A player to watch on the offensive end for the Eaglets is junior Blake Grimmer. The Tennessee commit has been heating up as of late. He is hitting above .500 on the year and has five long balls and 23 runs batted in.

On the other hand, Ohio Northern commit Eric Anton will be one to keep an eye on. Anton is hitting above .600 this season with two home runs, seven RBIs, and an outstanding 1.560 OPS.

This is first year Head Coach John ‘Moose’ Mustachio's first matchup against Matt Petry and the Eaglets. The winningest skipper in Oakland baseball history will try to play spoilers to St. Mary’s perfect season and get their CHSL Central record above .500.

The first pitch of this double header will take place at 4 P.M. ET. The broadcast will be featured on St. Mary’s website which can be found here: https://www.stmarysprep.com/.
