The number one team in all of the land, the 31-0 O.L.S.M. Eaglets will finish off our four game Friday coverage of the CHSL semi finals against the 15-17 C.C. Shamrocks.

The Eaglets will dispatch projected first round MLB draft pick Brock Porter to the mound to start. The Clemson commit is a perfect 5-0 this season with an astounding 71 strikeouts and a .200 earned run average to boot.

Sophomore Braylon Laroo will be on the bump to start things off for the Shamrocks. The right hander has a fastball that sits in the lower 80s as well as a plus changeup to go with it. Against UofD Jesuit he threw seven innings, only gave up two earned runs, recorded four strikeouts and earned a win.

Laroo will be in for a tough day as Mary’s batters have been absolutely raking this season. They have blasted 46 long balls on the year and to put that number into context, the state record is 76. There will be many batters to keep an eye on this evening but one of the most imposing sticks on the squad comes from Auburn commit Ike Irish. The catcher has hit a whopping nine homeruns this season to pair with an impressive .447 batting average.

For C.C, Alabama commit Evan Haeger’s bat is no joke either. Against Liggett he went 2-4 with a triple, 3 RBIs, and a run scored.

Matt Petry and the Eaglets will look to keep their perfect season bid alive and roll to the CHSL final again while second year Head Coach Ryan Rogowski will attempt to play spoiler. As usual today, our broadcast can be found on our Youtube linked here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GRwppRsdeU
