Late in the second quarter, Hodges would find the endzone once again after 6-yard run, giving Cass Tech a 13-7 lead at the half.

Cass Tech continued to score. QB Leeshaun Mumpfield would find Sadler for a touchdown reception. After a successful 2-point conversion, the Technicians took a 21-7 lead.

The Technicians did not stop there. Cameron Summerour would run the ball three yards into the endzone, making it a 27-7 game.

On the following kickoff, Brother Rice would fumble the ball, giving Cass Tech possession once again. They took advantage. Javen Sewell made an incredible diving catch in the endzone for an 11-yard touchdown reception, making it a 33-7 game with around eight minutes remaining.

Brother Rice would score one more touchdown to chip away at the Cass Tech lead, but it was not enough and Cass Tech went on to win by a final score of 33-14.

The G’s of the Game, present by GBrand USA were given to Matthew Nickens, Javen Sewell, and Corey Sadler Jr. Sadler score a pair of touchdowns, but had a huge impact apart from scoring, with multiple punt returns of 30+ yards. Sewell himself scored a touchdown, which capped off a 27-0 run by the Technicians. Nickens had a huge impact on defense, getting 7 tackles. What is more impressive is that Nickens played despite losing his mother to breast cancer this week.
